You ever wonder how your fellow countrymen stand on hot button issues? The old guard of the news media establishment would have you believe that everything is honky dory. That the public at large are actually receptive and supporting of these asinine policy positions through manufactured consent. That we the sheeple will roll over for anything and will simply go along with these pseudo-journalistic propaganda narratives. In many cases this is true, but false media-driven poll models and bullshit statistics are skewered to prevent undesirable outcomes. They smear your face in it every day, until you either abandon hope or bow down to whatever agenda item they’re trying to force through.
Modern day newsmen and newswomen are nihilistic in their approach to dispensing headlines. Trying to convince the audience of what priorities are the most important truly shows that they have no idea what matters to the average American. Their modus operandi and collective actions are Nietzschean in nature. By engineering false perceptions, they attempt to make everything on the surface look dire. Using fear-based tactics, doing their best to fool the American citizenry that the sky is falling, they are trying to convince us to surrender our liberties in order to achieve a safe state. The abyss reverberates violently below the surface and is slowly making its way out into the open. As individuals and information agents alike gaze into the abyss, they are starting to recognize a perversion of the truth. Well-deserved doubts are starting to devour the watcher from both sides. With media trust at an all-time low is it any wonder that everyone is tuning out? National disillusionment is running high, and we the people demand a significant course correction.
There seems to be a revealing abandonment of legacy news agencies going on. People are starting to shift their information diets towards independent journalists and podcasters. This is a good thing since the future health of democracy depends on it. Critical thinking in the United States has hit rock bottom but I believe that we are slowly but surely coming out of an intellectual dark age. Without an alert, knowledge, and actionable citizenry there is simply no democracy or liberal state of affairs. May the individual’s pursuit of truth go onwards and upwards towards a new golden era. I personally don’t go that in depth on news cycles anymore. Massive waste of time where you are left pissed off and chasing your own tail. I have found the perfect medium on where to get my news and information from. I believe it’s the best way to gauge the pulse of the nation. Going directly to the comments section is how I stay informed and prevent big media companies from taking possession of my soul.
The comments section is the wild west of the news industry. I especially like it when anything and everything is allowed. I like to scan the headlines of some bullshit news periodical, click and skip the body of the story, and scroll directly to the comments. More often than not the comments section yields more credibility than the post itself. This is where my fellow truth seekers find solitude and get to express their opinion in an open forum. The outrage and absurdity of these commentators can be quite creative and give you a good laugh. There will always be hidden gems in an ocean of dishonest disinformation. Here are a few good examples:
In a NY Post article regarding Bill Belichick’s relationship with a young woman 47 years his junior NASTYMAN567 commented:
Belichick is the GOAT and he can make love to anyone he wants, to include a goat. Viagra is a hell of a drug. Keep pumping Bill!
On a Fox News article referring to Katy Perry’s space voyage on the Blue Origin and ensuing PR backlash BallzDeepMahoney123 commented:
I’ve tried to like this woman but I finder her loathsome. She needs to go back to what she knows, underselling concerts and worshipping Satan/Bozo the Clown.
HuffPost, the most credible name in pseudo journalism, published a politically charged article about McDonalds being down nearly 4% from the previous quarter, TypoNegative69 writes:
Nobody wants to pay $14 for a half ass burger combo when you can pay an extra $3 to get something better and healthier. The last time I was in a McDonald’s bathroom somebody wrote in black sharpie, “Never trust a glory hole at Whole Foods!” MAHA 4 Life, grab ‘em by the p#$%y!
The comment section isn’t exclusively reserved for infotainment articles. It’s equally if not funnier on social media platforms. The American news cycle is so pathetic that sometimes a person’s tweet or the uproar over it somehow becomes news itself. Whenever some dimwitted celebrity or politician puts out a tweet on X they are opening themselves up to a variety of counter textual backlash. And that’s where the authenticity of the masses takes shape.
When Lauren Boebert, a Colorado congresswoman who only obtained her GED a month before assuming office, wrote on X:
Take your children to CHURCH, not drag bars.
AfricanAmericanMermaidSupremacy responds: Jack your man off in the privacy of your own home, not in public with kids around!
When Kamala Harris wrote on X:
Donald Trump is a racist narcissist cisgender whose own sister doesn’t like him.
ShitWeasel666 responds: The girl definitely knows how to toss a mean word salad. Pour champagne all over me all the way down to the booty hole, ABQ represent!
Pure comedy and internet gold. Our news cycle and the celebrities that have to express their political opinions on their X accounts is a bottomless pit of joke worthy material. The public domain in cyber spaces can be a cruel bitch, albeit a funny one. The official headlines and online posts made by once credible news outlets has devolved into nothing more than a tornado of crude commentary by a dissatisfied electorate. Some people spend an incredible amount of time in the comments section. They could be anything from people that are bored at work, bots, trolls, government monitors, or people whose sole job is to sow disinformation on behalf of a state actor. DoomBanana311, who you’ve been going back and forth with on Hunter Biden’s freaky sexcapades, is actually a paid agent of Russia working out of a Macedonian internet café. Balkanization takes on many forms in the political and information landscape. Divide and conquer worked two thousand years ago for the Romans and is a tactic used today to subvert the American audience in the comment section.
When there is a lack of civility and accountability in these forums, people’s animalistic instincts start to come out and that’s where humanity devolves. When common courtesy is thrown out the window, people’s shit talking and online egos become animalistic. It is tantamount to monkeys throwing shit at each other. When somebody insults you about your expressed opinion posted at the bottom of a news article, it is your duty to fling poo back at him. This is the very foundation for shit posting. This can go back and forth for hours if not days. Since there is no civilized method to have an official debate anymore it has become nothing more than a feces flinging frenzy. When people’s bullshit is threatened it is their duty to heap a bucket of shit right back at their antagonist. It may be a shitty way of expression but there is always nuggets of hilarity in this shit stew we call the internet. A total shit show indeed.
It’s quite obvious that the headline is click bait. When I’m mindlessly scrolling through a newsfeed, I peruse headlines where there will be a memorable retort and counter argument at the end of the page. I really don’t give a fuck about the story, only the aftermath in the comment section. Many news outlets don’t give you the option of a comment section, but that’s where they lose their credibility. Propaganda outlets like CNN are only hurting themselves by not having a public comment section to rebuke their terrible take on current events. Then you have modern news outlets such as Breitbart and HuffPost where anything goes. It ups the readership and the online traffic because they allow their audience to heap shit on one another during sectarian political disputes. It’s always great when someone deviates from the topical discussion and starts ranting about religious prophecies and what went on during Diddy’s freak off parties. If Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he would agree about the importance of having a free and open comment section on every news link and published social media post.
If you really want to know what your fellow man is feeling, take a trip down the rabbit hole all the way to the comment section. It will provide better social commentary than anything on Piers Morgan. The curated scripts that are in the news don’t really reflect reality. Scroll all the way down and you will gain a prole’s perspective on the pulse of the nation. Whether the headline is about ongoing trade wars, or where Sydney Sweeney went out to lunch in Beverly Hills, look to the comment section for the most unbiased opinions in America.
